Faith-Fueled. Education Advocate | Enneagram 2
Karley is a deep-believer in the intersection of faith, mental health, and social justice. As Development Manager at UrbanPromise, she is responsible for grants and donor relationships, securing community resources that sustain programming. Karley has her Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Denver Seminary and a background in pastoral care and counseling. Before joining UrbanPromise, Karley served with several nonprofits and ministries, including Hope Women’s Center, and currently works as a Children’s Pastor and a pediatric hospice chaplain. She brings that same commitment to community and care to her work at UrbanPromise, alongside thoughtful nonprofit management.
Raised outside of Milwaukee, WI, Karley’s family always had an open door and an extra seat at the table. Since moving to Charlotte, she enjoys exploring local spots with her husband, Kevin, finding a new way to help her community flourish, and walking her dogs - including a loveable bulldog named Whopper and a boxer named Nellie. Karley and Kevin welcomed their first child in February 2026.
