Lacy is the Middle School Director at Camp Joy and a longtime advocate for students in the classroom who began working in afterschool programs when she was in high school. Her resume includes a degree in Intercultural Studies, where she worked internationally with nonprofits in Haiti and Cambodia. After graduating, Lacy worked in afterschool programs, primarily serving middle school students. She is passionate about experiential learning that broadens student horizons and creating spaces that are intentionally inclusive and supportive.
A Belmont, NC native, Lacy is a "warm-hearted advocate" who balances her drive for results with a deep love for community. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her hiking in the mountains or dominating on the pickleball court. She is also an avid trivia fan who loves reading and spending time with friends.
